The 2019 China Open, officially VICTOR China Open 2019, was a badminton tournament which took place at Olympic Sports Center Xincheng Gymnasium in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China from 17 to 22 September 2019 and had a total prize of $1,000,000.
The 2019 China Open was the eighteenth tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the China Open championships, which had been held since 1986. This tournament was organized by Chinese Badminton Association and sanctioned by the BWF.
Men's Singles had 56 entries from 17 countries, Out of which 2 from India had made to the Draws. Parupalli Kashyap (Round 2), Sai Praneet B (Quarter Finals).
Women's Singles had 47 entries from 19 countries, Out of which 2 from India had made to the Draws. Pusarla V Sindhu (Round 2), Saina Nehwal (Round 1).
Men's Doubles had 41 entries from 17 countries, Out of which 2 from India had made to the Draws. Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy & Chirag shetty (Round 2), Attri Manu & Reddy B Sumeeth (Round 1).
Women's Doubles had 41 entries from 21 countries, Out of which 1 from India had made to the Draws. Ashwini Ponnappa & Reddy N Sikki (Round 2),
Mixed Doubles had 48 entries from 20 countries, Out of which 2 from India had made to the Draws. Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy & Ashwini Ponnappa (Round 2), Pranaav Jerry Chopra & Reddy N Sikki (Round 1).
